MAJOR SPOLIERS AHEAD!聽聽
Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War has a few endings to its single-player聽campaign mode. Players are given the option to save the world by preventing a nuclear war, or teaming up with Perseus to commence the launch and deter the Americans to a dead end.聽Throughout the story,聽you鈥檙e given many options聽to progress the way you want. But when it comes to this final mission, a lot more is at stake and your actions聽are a matter of life or death. Here鈥檚 how your options break down.聽

After some mental interrogation, your character Bell wakes up and finds themselves with Adler and the American team. You鈥檙e聽strapped to a chair and given one choice:聽Tell Adler the truth about Perseus鈥 location and help prevent a nuclear catastrophe, or lie to him, divert the American team to another location, and help Perseus聽vaporize all of Europe. If you tell Adler the truth, you get the canonical ending where you, Mason, Woods, and Adler head to the聽Solovetsky聽islands and聽stop the launch from happening. Perseus escapes but America wins this fight and saves all of Europe.聽聽

Lying to Adler sends you to the Duga array in the Ukraine- a distraction for Perseus to start the聽launch聽with聽no Americans in his way.聽If you unlocked the secret door in Hudson鈥檚聽base聽prior to this mission, you also have a chance to not only turn your back on the US team, but plan an ambush that leads to the deaths of Woods, Mason, Kim and Adler by your own hands. Once the US team is killed, you and the mysterious man (who turns out NOT to be Perseus) launch the nukes and blame the United States.聽Be on the lookout for聽GameSpot鈥檚聽Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War coverage with its聽upcoming review and guides to both multiplayer and聽zombies聽mode.

  1. I personally sided with Perseus and did the ambush thing. Werea bit pissed at Adler for lying to me, I'm glad to see hat even if I chose to help him he'd just shoot me in the head.

Although I were saddened when I had to kill Lazar. He was the only nice one :c

  2. I honestly think all the endings are bad endings, 2 of them you'll die in and another you'll live but you kill Woods and Mason, all the endings you find out you were brainwashed and manipulated.

  3. So its essentially save millions of people at the cost of your life, or kill millions of people as a result of being loyal to your country.
That is one shitty situation to be in.
