Cyberpunk 2077, an open-world, action-adventure story from CD PROJEKT RED, is coming to Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PC, and Google Stadia on December 10th, 2021. The game will also be playable on Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5 consoles when available.

So I'm looking back in retrospect on Cyberpunk 2077's open world, and the more I think about it, the more disappointed I am. More than that, I feel that CDPR truly misled its audience through their advertising campaign. In this trailer they mentioned how you could enjoy your "downtime" in Night City, and they showed clips of V riding a roller coaster and playing electric guitar for example. This made it seem as if there were a ton of side activities to do in the game. In reality, that guitar scene was from one of Johnny's main missions, and I don't recall ever getting to ride a roller coaster because the mall was shut down. On top of that, I spent a majority of the game exploring the world, but the only side activities consisted of shooting bad guys and stopping assaults from happening. Aside from that, I don't recall there being anything else to really do. I think Dunkey said it best when there could have been way more stuff put into Night City. For example, a futuristic Aquarium, Museum, Theatre, Arcades, extc. While the main storyline for the game was very well done, the open world was a wasted opportunity. Night City could have been one of the most amazing open worlds to explore. But, the more I think about it, the less desire I have to go back into it knowing that there isn't much to do. The only reason I'd go back is to take a different story path. This is so disappointing. As much as I enjoyed my initial playthrough, Cyberpunk has left a sour aftertaste due to unfulfilled promises.
This game was a complete disaster. Lawsuit, PS4 & Xbox One refund because dosen't run well on curent gen, missing features, bugs everywhere… This game is dead, and will never be resurected!
