  1. Now that the 1.2 and 1.21 patches have optimized the performance of the game, does DF have any plans on reinvestigating this matter? As in, whether their advice in this video is still valid, or maybe the performance gains now scale differently, per setting, compared to before?

    I find their engine interesting from a technical perspective:
    * What have they been able to optimize (the framerate difference post-1.2 is significantly better);
    * What can they still optimize (hypothetically);
    * What can they not improve more than they already have (also hypothetically)?

  2. Hi, I don't know if this is normal but DLSS makes things noticably blurrier on my system. I'm playing with a 3080. 1440p native looks significantly sharper.

  3. Dude, your core I9 10900K is more like a mainstream, outdated CPU in 2020/2021, so you have a mainstream computer even if u like to think that u have a high end pc. You have the best video card but only lowered down by a "genetically challenged" CPU. High end computers have AMD Ryzen 5900X or 5950X CPU. And u chose to compare that oven i9 10900k with Ryzen 3900X instead of 5900X or 5950X? Core i9 10900k is slower and sure like an oven compared to them. Intel completely lost the CPU competition to AMD in 2020 and lost it bad. In 2021 Intel is relevant only in budget gaming Cpu's market like Core I5-11400F. This is how u ruined a video otherwise very well documented for graphical settings. Your video could be easily had a 10/10 without your biased comparison between processors, now it is only a 6/10. Why so much good work wasted? Wake up dude! You can do better! However, I really appreciate your good work part, it is the best video for graphical settings of Cyberpunk 2077 which I could find, and I researched a lot, so keep improving and posting.

  4. I have an RTX 3080 and a Ryzen 7 5800x, I'm using these exact settings and I'm getting 45-50 fps in all urban areas outside of Pacifica when running RT (with their RT settings). Like as soon as I cross borders it dips down to there and stays there whole driving.

    I've done all troubleshooting on the website and even reinstalled the game. It's just fucked. CDPR REALLY needs to fix the performance of this game on PC as well.

  5. Seems patch 1.2 reset all my graphic settings to high or ultra not sure why. Just FYI had to set them back to these settings to get the FPS back up.

  6. Just a heads up. If you are running RT Lighting and Refections, Turn off Screen Space Refections and Ambient Occlusion. These two are redundant if using the RT versions. You will gain performance with no noticable quality loss.

  7. I found that dropping most shadows setting to low or medium and turning RT shadows on gave a very low fps impact with massive visual improvements, if you're already using RT lighting and reflections.

  8. Some very weird interactions between settings in this game.

    When exiting the apt bldg to meet Jackie I noticed that switching Colour Precision from Med to High gave me MORE fps somehow…

    Very weird.

  9. If I set mirrors to high and volumetric fog resolution to high, it absolutely kills my FPS and I can't get over like 35 fps. And everything else has to be on medium or low

  10. I'm impressed, have an rtx 3070 and when the game first dropped I got like 60fps with these settings and DLSS quality mode on, now with these settings I can get 60fps at native 1080p

  11. Dynamic FidelityFX CAS, very good option (for AMD RX6xxx and 5xxx cards)!

    1. Make optimal settings (from this video);
    2. Run or drive in city, find your AVG framerate (for example ~55-60fps in city);
    3. Make "Target Frame Per Second": 75;
    4. Make "Minimum Resolution": 80;
    5. Make "Maximum Resolution": 100.

    When you will be inside in home (fight or mission scenes) – you will get MAX reaolution, but when driving/walking around outside FPS will not drop NOW, only you will get a little worst quality, BUT the same FPS 👍👍👍 (if FPS drops, make "Minimum resolution 75) some tests, play around with only that number! Its like Resolution Scale in Battlefield V!

    THIS IS PERFECT/EXCELLENT OPTION (makes constant FPS in game – with some resolution cost)!

  12. No matter what i change ( low,high, on, off ) resolution from 1080p to 1440p and FPS doesn't change. I use MSi afterburner. Any suggestions?
