  1. Kinda defeats the purpose using a 1080 needed a 2080ti to see the differences but it shows if you have anything slower than a 2080ti, 2080s, 1080ti and so on amd is looking pretty good. I have a 3900x, 3600, 2700x for current amd cpu’s and 8700k, 9900KS and 8750h for intel. They are all great i just like intel/nvidia for my gaming rig. I just ordered the ks i got it for msrp so it was about the same price as the 9900k maybe $15 more. I wanted it more for lower voltages than higher overclocks, I’m so used to my 8700k running really cool at 5ghz delided I’ll probably run the 9900ks at 4.8 or 4.9 at the lowest voltage possible. And because i’ll be using my Z370 AORUS Gaming 7 until i can buy the z390 master. It had one of the best vrm setups on a z370 board it should be fine at 4.8ghz not gonna try for 5.2ghz until i get the z390 board.

  2. Absolutely no point buying an i9 unless you have a 2080Ti, and want the best performance. In 1440p gaming the difference is negligable. GPU-s are just not strong enough yet not to be the bottleneck in most of our systems.

  3. I9 9900k is the best cpu.
Amd has not a chance, intel stepping 14 nm++ , 14 month old.
Amd 3900x manufacturing in 7nm stepping and 4 month old.
But the differenc is crazy. A old cpu is better, with a new cpu.
Render and blender is amd better, but for the rest is intel i9 9900k perfectly.
