  1. I have a 2060 super that boosts to core 1920. Memory at 7000. Thinking about going up to a 2070 Super for a resolution bump. I'm confused. Aren't I paying for a bump in performance but it has the same clocks as my 2060s. My only guess is… I can push it further with less heat?

  2. the memory bandwidth on the 5700xt is terrible, and despite constantly running a higher clock speed than the 2080 it performs worse, also, notice the differenc in image quality between the two, the nvidia card image is brighter and clearer with more vivid colors, not something that can be determined by a simple numbers game. I'll keep my 2080 super, im getting 30 more frames in many of these tests, thats EASILY worth a couple hundred more bucks.

  3. Every time I see AMD vs Nvidia, those who are on budget will bash Nvidia in attempt to justify their AMD purchase, and totally ignore the fact that AMD drivers are often trash. The funniest part is people still have high hopes for a driver update to increase performance of their AMD cards, the RX 5700 and 5700 XT in particular. Let me tell you, the hardwares can only handle an x amount of clock and speed. While a driver update may make your card run more efficient (power wise and performance wise), it can increase your card clock to a certain number. Remember the RX 5700 XT is not designed to compete with the RTX 2080 in the first place. It will never touch 2080 performance. Yes you can OC the RX but so can you with the RTX.

  4. I'm awaiting confirmation that, "AMD drivers are A1!"
Until then I'm not that interested in AMD. Plus gonna wait for the new Nvidia series to see what further development there is with the new tech.
