Why Cyberpunk 2077 Should Not Get a Pass On Last Gen's Failures – IGN Now

Cyberpunk 2077 is one of the most anticipated games of the past 10 years, but it could’ve used a little more time in the oven. But what hurts the most is that the game performs terribly on current-gen PlayStation 4 and Xbox One consoles, the same systems that have been available for almost as long as Cyberpunk has been in development.

  1. If I can run RDR2 and TLOU2 on last gen with decent graphics I should've at least been able to run this shallow shell of a game on low graphics. This is not a hardware issue. It's a straight up failure of optimization. No excuses.

  2. They should be ashamed that they did such a 💩ty job on this game they hyped up to be the game of the year.
Keanu Reeves must be sick that he ended be the Lead character in this flop of a game.

  3. This game sux. No way is it worth $60, it feels 10 years old. I tried getting a refund from Steam, and they refused. I uninstalled the game after only getting to level 2.

  4. I feel like if you make a game you shouldn't try and make it for old consoles like it should be made for the latest consoles. Imo making games for old hardware just means they make the game look worse and I want it to look the best it can.
